Pechipparai Dam (74 kms) from kanniyakumari and 53kms from Nagercoil. The weather is very pleasant. It is a fine day excursion centre for touristis. A pleasure boat service is available. The dam is surrounded by dense forests with valuable trees, wildlife etc.
