The Sangameswarar Temple here is situated at the confluence of Rivers Kaveri, Bhavani and Amuthanathi. It resembles of Thriveni Sangamam at Allahabad in North India. Jambai is a place near here is well known for production of Jamakalam or the thick bedspread. Bhavani is 16 kms from Erode.
